So this is how we do things now.
Late last year, my number one developer Dave (you might remember my mentioning him on the Home page) suggested I offer my clients websites built on the Drupal CMS platform. He was already deep into his own research of what it could offer him as a developer and when I learned what it could offer my clients in terms of content control, website flexibility, scalabilty and ease of use, I saw he was right.
Drupal is an open source (read: free) software package that gives designers and developers the ability to build websites that can easily publish, manage and organize a wide variety of content. Hundreds of thousands of individuals and organizations are now using Drupal to power many different sites.
One of the reasons we are recommending Drupal so consistently to our clients is the wide availability of community contributed modules that provide functionality for thousands of distinct use cases. Combining single-purpose modules in creative ways can produce complex functionality for near limitless possibilities.
